This plate is made with pieces of Dryden pottery in the center.
This Dryden Pottery dish combines the Pottery's 55 year Kansas and Arkansas heritage.
The 6 1/4 inch diameter dish is 9 of 10 numbered
souvenirs singed and inscribed A.J. Dryden, founder and J.K. Dryden (his son),
18 colorful ceramic chards, dug from the old factory grounds in Ellsworth, KS, by the authors, were embedded in glaze at the Arkansas factory.
The successful high temperature firing of old vitreous pieces with new clay as accomplished here by the Drydens is unique in ceramics and truly original.
